“You’re a Different Kind of Tarot Reader, aren’t you?" ... "That’s not how the last reader did it.”
When I encounter clients of other readers, and sometimes other readers themselves, I am often puzzled by what they say, and their expectations of a reading. It makes me and my style of reading stand out, which has always been my intent -- to be unique, eclectic, and to give an experience you can’t get anywhere else. It also reminds me that there is a lot of misunderstanding out there about the Tarot, Reiki, Energy, and anything generally labelled “Magic” or “The Occult”.
That is something I am out to clear up.
With that in mind, here’s what you need to know about an Intuitive Indigo
Reading or Reiki session:
Tarot cards are not magical.
You and I are. Energy is. The planet is.
The cards are paper. Just as a log is not a fire.
The untapped energy in a log can create and feed a fire, if coupled with the right energy pair.
The untapped energy in the cards, when paired with you or I, is what creates the magic.
I am not here to tell you your fortune.
While it may be true that some prediction comes with the cards, and communication with spirit, there is so much more to a reading than that. The cards, along with spirit let me know where you’ve been, what you struggle with, and how to get unstuck so you can move forward.
I am a firm believer in YOUR empowerment and your ability to create, shape and mold the fortune and the future YOU want. Not what others think it should look like, but one that lights you up, renews your passion and has you running forward with excitement in your eyes.
I am here to assist you in that endeavor, and to let you know about potential hindrances and roadblocks, as well as possible opportunities.
I am absolutely not here in place of a psychological professional or a medical doctor.

You are not broken. One more time, with some stank on it… YOU ARE NOT BROKEN!
You are exactly where you are supposed to be, in this moment.
It is this moment and this situation that will get you to the next thing.
This moment in time is serving you the next moment on a silver platter. You can grab that moment and powerfully choose what to do with it, or you can stare blankly, waiting and expecting it to do something for you. Often the choice is simply to take a baby step towards where you are headed. Sometimes it’s a leap. Regardless, where there is movement, there is no more stagnancy.
The universe rewards movement with progress and more opportunity.
I encourage you to do what you can, where you can, with self-love, self-compassion and balance – never forgetting that none of this is possible without YOU.
I am not here to get Uncle Jeff to tell you where the key to the safe is.
And he might. And I, of course would tell you.
It is much more likely that I will tell you that Uncle Jeff sees what an ass he was in life, and that he wants to make amends. Or that Uncle Jeff has always felt a father-like energy toward you and would like to be one of your guides.
Most likely, I will tell you about the pain you suffer from the past, often inflicted by others, and help you see it, process it, shift it, remove it, and grow. This can be done with the cards or with Reiki.
I am not here for entertainment purposes or to make you feel good.
And the chances are high that you will feel good, REALLY good!
(On occasion, you might be pretty entertained too.)
Especially once you start unsticking yourself!
There will likely be more smiling, more laughing and more freedom.
I am a facilitator. I am here to assist you in getting unstuck. Unstuck from all the things life has thrown at you, but also unstuck from all the things you have attached yourself to willingly that do not serve you.
There may be harsh truths to face.
They will be delivered with love, tact and grace.
There may be some ugly to look at.
Ever seen one of those hairless cats? So ugly they’re cute?
The eyes adjust. The mind adjusts. We adapt. We cope. We carry on and improve.
We can each transcend our own ugly.
I encourage radical personal responsibility.
It is empowering to own your shit. If you make a mess, clean it up. People respect you when you take radical responsibility.
Responsibility and Blame are not the same thing.
Taking responsibility is powerful and brings a sense of freedom. Blame comes with chains.
There will definitely be work to do.
But is it really work if you love it? If it’s easy? If it’s more like a bump in the road instead of a pothole that swallows your car? Perception changes our relationship to things like work. Maybe you’ve never seen it that way. It doesn’t mean that you can’t.
Sometimes we don’t know what it is that we don’t know.
There will absolutely be love, support, compassion and celebration at all your successes.
There will be continued encouragement as you morph into a newer, freer version of you.
There will be praise for a job well done.
